New construction of the company headquarters of Siemens AG at the previous location in the centre of Munich. Only the classical Ludwig-Ferdinand-Palais, built by Leo von Klenze in the 19th century as a listed building, as well as the building at Wittelsbacherplatz 2 were preserved and completely renovated and converted. The new buildings are oriented towards the world's highest building standards for sustainability. In contrast to the old company headquarters, the ground floor area is open to the public and thus makes an important contribution to upgrading the entire quarter and improving the connection between Munich's old town and the art distric Munich (Kunstareal).
